There are home laser hair removal kits on the market, but again, it would be better to have a professional do this as doing it wrong can make things a lot worse for yourself (try walking into an A & E and explain the burn marks on you crotch). The lazer treatments might not be suitable for everyone as the lazer work by targeting the darker pigment against a light skin background. The effect of lazer hair removal is said to be of a small rubber band snapping against the skin, and afterwards a small sunburn effect.

Electrolysis pubic hair removal

Electrolysis hair removal works somewhat similar to lazer hair removal in that the follicle is targeted, but where lazer uses pulsed light, electrolysis inserts a small needle down to the follicle and applies an electric charge.
